Since 1988, Amphibico has been providing both the recreational and professional diver with high quality and sophisticated underwater imaging equipment. The company was originally founded by Val Ranetkins, a diver and videographer with 25 years experience. Val has brought both his expertise and knowledge of this specialized industry to the high quality standards Amphibico demands of its products.
Our dedicated staff, many of them divers, bring forth each day the quality and service that is required to meet Amphibico's objectives when designing, manufacturing and providing customer support.
In 1998 Amphibico changed ownership, but the original staff remained the same. Ron Hand, who is currently the President & CEO, joined Amphibico with the same passion and vision that guided the company's growth and development over its first 10 years. This blend of new business ownership combined with Amphibico's existing commitment has provided our company with the opportunity to enter the new millennium with very high expectations of continuing to lead the industry in innovation and quality.

AMPHIBICAM®
We are pleased to announce the availability of our AMPHIBICAM® Broadcast ,
designed for virtually all Betacams but more specifically for the Sony® HDW-F900
High Definition camcorder. This is rated to operate to a depth of 100 metres
(or 330 feet) but provides ideal protection in any environment. All optical
and lighting accessories as well as all electronics are compatible with topside
operation. More detailed information is enclosed herewith for your perusal.
This project has been the most ambitious ever undertaken by Amphibico. It has involved more than two years of development with Val Ranetkins, our Director of Research & Development, spending the vast majority of his time designing, co-ordinating and pursuing the excellence in innovation and functionality that this housing represents.
